• Saddle – you need to get a saddle that compliments all your nether regions. Don’t underestimate saddle sore!
  • Seat height and position – this impacts all of your body positioning so get it just right. If your seat is too low, your knees will bend too much on rotations and you’ll lose strength pushing through your legs. If your seat is too high your legs can lock out and you can also put too much pressure through your hands.
  • Handlebars and hand position – similarly to the seat, your handlebar height will dramatically change your body positioning. You also might want handlebars that allow you to alternate your grip and alleviate different muscles.
  • Body position and back strain – all these elements impact your back and can strain it.
